About Me
Hello! My name is Madison Rea, and I would like to share some interesting facts about myself. This is a story about how I became inspired to become a talented digital artist since my youth.
Back when I was watching some classic Disney animated films in my childhood, I look back into my thoughts and that is when I found inspiration to become a digital artist in the future. I began my future goal starting with drawing with pencil and paper and then coloring the paper with coloring tools like paint, markers, colored pencils, and even crayons. Now, since high school, I started creating digital arts using the creative software app called Autodesk Sketchbook before moving on to using Adobe Creative Cloud in 2020.
In my childhood, my creativity started when I was watching one of the classic Disney movies with my family. Watching how all the frames in animation as well as how the storytelling was demonstrated is what inspired me to write and tell my own story through illustrations and animations. I drew some childhood pictures back in kindergarten and then in my elementary school during my free time. However, when middle school came along, I start creating sketches that are more clear and well-detailed. I also began to add colors to my sketches in my break from school on the weekends as well. In high school, I even took a few art classes, such as ceramics (where I crafted my first ceramic bowls) and then an art class where I can both draw and paint some artwork. However, besides drawing on paper, after looking up research on web animation, I became more interested in making digital arts, which is what led to me starting with drawing using Autodesk Sketchbook in 2018 and then creating art using Adobe Creative Cloud in 2020.
Now starting college, in order to start courses in art, I have to get through courses of both Math and English. After those are out of the way, I am now starting courses that are part of the Graphic Design and Web Design program, which is where I will be getting an Associate’s Degree from.
Finally, after I complete the program in college, I'll be looking for jobs that are hiring new graphic designers somewhere in Missouri. I am looking forward to what comes next in the new chapter of my future.
